Recycling is the process of converting waste materials into reusable materials and objects. It can prevent the waste of potentially useful materials and decrease the consumption of fresh raw materials. Doing so reduces energy usage, air pollution (from incineration), and pollution of water and soil (from landfilling).
The collection Recycling includes solutions that allow for the collection of waste materials and their transformation into valuable resources, objects and tools.
Lava Mae converts old buses into bathrooms and showers for homeless people. They launched the mobile hygiene service in June of 2014 and it has since provided 14,000+ showers to 2,400 people.
